Fellowships for Master’s Students
Entering a professional career after your Master’s?
APRI is pleased to announce $1,000 fellowships for Master’s students planning to enter professional careers outside academia (i.e., not Ph.D. programs). Students currently enrolled in Master’s programs are eligible to apply for these fellowships to defray part of the registration fee for Reading for Research Seminars.
Preference will be given to applications received by May 19, 2025. Applications received after this date, will be considered on the basis of availability.
Eligibility:
- Participants must be currently enrolled in or completing a Master’s program
- Participants must be planning to pursue or working in a career outside of academia
- These funds can be used for both Foundational Reading and Reading for Research seminars
- Participants are eligible to receive funding for both seminars
Follow these steps:
- Learn about our seminar formats and current offerings.
- Follow this link to provide information and take a free placement test on APRI’s application page (Steps 1 and 2 only).
- Then go to the Fellowships for Master’s Students application where you will be asked to:
- Provide documentation of your Reading for Research placement OR Foundational registration
- Provide documentation of current enrollment in a Master’s program
- Compose a one-page statement describing how the ability to read professional resources in the world language you plan to study will benefit your Master’s studies and/or enhance your professional opportunities.
